01  What is Mechatronic and Information Technology Journal (MITJ)?  −

Mechatronic and Information Technology Journal (MITJ) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by LPPM Politeknik Takumi. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and applied research papers in the fields of Mechatronics, Information Technology, Automation Systems, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Embedded Systems, and related disciplines.

02  Who can submit manuscripts to MITJ?  +

Researchers, academics, lecturers, students, industry practitioners, and professionals whose work falls within the journal's scope are welcome to submit manuscripts.

03  What types of manuscripts are accepted?  +

MITJ accepts:
• Original Research Articles
• Review Articles
• Case Studies
• Applied Research Papers

04  In which language can manuscripts be submitted?  +

Manuscripts may be submitted in either English or Indonesian.

05  How do I submit a manuscript?  +

Authors must register an account on the journal website, log in, and submit their manuscript through the online submission system.

06  Does MITJ use a peer-review process?  +

Yes. All manuscripts undergo a Double-Blind Peer Review process involving at least two independent reviewers.

07  How long does the review process take?  +

The review process generally takes between 2 and 6 weeks, depending on the availability of reviewers and the quality of the submitted manuscript.

08  Does the journal check for plagiarism?  +

Yes. All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process.

09  Is there any publication fee?  +

Submission Fee: Free

Publication Fee (APC): IDR 150,000 per accepted article.

The publication fee is charged only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

10  Is MITJ an Open Access journal?  +

Yes. MITJ provides immediate open access to all published articles, allowing readers to access and download content free of charge.

11  Can authors revise their manuscripts?  +

Yes. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on comments and recommendations from reviewers and editors.
